ABOUT SJAAK

The studio is in a former school building. The space is 50 m2 and has windows up to the ceiling. You can play with the light by using the blinds and the light curtains. 

Perfectly for photography, video, workshops, presentations and other gatherings with gorgeous daylight to make your footage interesting and a life.

 

FURNISHED 

The space is furnished with vintage furniture and the authentic school cabinets are filled with preloved finds. Which you can use, to make your footage unique.

PHOTOGRAPHER 

If have you covered if you are looking for a photographer.  I can do small product photography for paintings, drawings, furniture, crockery,  jewellery with models, you name it.

STYLIST

If you need help with styling for (product) photography? I've got you as well. My style is clean, fresh and bright.  

Creating your story into an image, in the style you want. I am always happy to engage with you and offer advice without any obligations.

LOCATION

Studio Sjaak is located in the former "NOVA College" Bilding. The entrance is at the main entrance on the side of the Planetenlaan.

It's on the first floor, unfortunately, the lift in the building is longer works.

PARKING

Parking is available on the street for free, in front of the main entery.

The studio is yours

Once you book the studio, it is all yours. That means you have responsibility for your own team and guests. Check our house rules for more information and share them with your team!

Check in & out

I will give you the key at check-in. At the end of the shoot I will collect the key. Just call 30 minutes before you leave.

Food & Drinks

There is water, tea and coffee for free. Food can be provided by yourself. No fridge present.

Photography equipment

The equipment needed for a photoshoot should be brought by the booker. Generally the best hours to shoot are from 9:30 to 15:30 with lots of natural light and depending on the weather/season. If evening shoots are required we recommend to bring daylight equipment. 

Time Slots

You can book our studio for a time slot of 2, 4 or 8 hours. Time slots of 2, 4 and 8 hours are available between 09:00 and 17:00.

Need more time?

If you don't have enough time on the day of your booking, it is possible to book an additional time slot or pay a surcharge per half hour. This surcharge is 25 euro (excluding VAT) per half hour and can only be determined in consultation with the host.  

Surface area & (NO) elevator

The area of the studio is 50 m2. The height of the room is 300 m. Should you want to bring equipment for your event it is useful to know that the door post is 212 cm by 90 cm. There is NO elevator and the studio is on the first floor.

 

Load and Unload

This can only be done at the main entery.

Parking is available on the street for free, in front of the main entery.
